Strains:

There are several Pichia GlycoSwitch® strains to choose from:

Strains are available from BioGrammatics and should express your target protein with a mannose-5 structure at N-linked sites. O-glycosylation may also be reduced to the mannose-5 structure. Vectors:

Two AOX1 vectors that are compatible with both SuperMan5 strains are available from BioGrammatics.

• pJAZa – Zeocin resistance gene, AOX1, alpha mating factor
• pJAGa – G418 resistance, AOX1, alpha mating factor

One can also purchase various vectors from Life Technologies that are part of Pichia Classic for use with Pichia GlycoSwitch®.  Specfically, the pPICZa and pGAPZa vectors will be compatible with the SuperMan5 strains.
